Meet Danielle!

I started in the wedding industry in 2007 when I was 22 and I had no idea what I wanted to achieve. I knew that weddings made me happy and being surrounded by love and beautiful things was definitely something I could make a career out of.

Sixteen years later, I'm still utterly blown away by the feelings I experience just being in someone's presence on their wedding day, and if I thought I was in love with love at 22, I didn't know anything.

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, I now live in Auckland with my two teenage sons. My everyday life is full of love and family, and the crazy antics that go with them. I am constantly inspired by my surroundings and am thankful that I have been able to take my love of all things pretty and create the incredible career that I have. I feel so very blessed to have been given the opportunity to be involved with couples starting such an exciting time in their lives and creating lifelong relationships with each of them.

"Our main aim is to remove unnecessary obstacles and challenges from our clients planning process, which will allow them to focus on the more meaningful elements of their wedding"

Tell US your favourite wedding story

When you've been in business for as long as we have, it's impossible to choose just one. We've been very lucky to get to work with couples that we truly fall in love with and we become so emotionally invested that every single one of those weddings is our favourite story.

Tell US your best wedding disaster story

We don't have a 'best wedding disaster' story but some of the more significant difficulties we've had have been in the last few seasons with the extremely unpredictable weather. Between Australian bushfires causing our skies to turn orange, and unexpected torrential downpours forcing us to think outside of the box for our marquee weddings, the weather has definitely been a disaster all on its own.

When did you come into the wedding world and how has it changed?

Since starting in 2007 we've definitely seen significant growth in the amount of couples who are prioritising their wedding and ensuring that it is a celebration. Of course, over this time, we've seen many trends come and go, but ultimately the general goal has remained the same.

"What makes us unique is that we are one of the first wedding planning company's to have started in Auckland, and we have successfully continued to thrive and push ourselves creatively, whether it's for a wedding of 10 guests, or 600 guests"
